Description
Candidates should bring some experience in electrical panel building or have worked in an electrical or technician role. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI interfaces, or AutoCAD Electrical is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train individuals who have hands-on experience with electrical panels and show the right attitude and work ethic.
Although the position is primarily performed in a shop or manufacturing environment, employees must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor — especially when working directly with clients or at their job sites.
A CLX Panel Builder is responsible for:
- Safely and proficiently operating a wide range of hand and power tools
- Working efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent output
- Wiring devices and components according to issued electrical schematics and drawings
- Routing, bundling, and terminating wires neatly in accordance with accepted electrical standards
- Performing self-checks to ensure the panel is error-free and meets quality expectations
- Documenting any “red-line” changes during assembly and submitting them upon completion
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times
- Supplying most tools required to perform daily tasks
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation for work-related travel
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, when projects require it
- Willingness to travel locally and out of state with little or no notice (up to 30%)
- Ability to obtain or maintain a valid passport and pass a background check
- Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, both internally and as required by clients
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
