- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components using hand and power tools.
- Install and wire motors, relays, switches, terminal blocks, and other control devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Verify wiring and mechanical assemblies before testing.
- Work closely with production and engineering to ensure high-quality builds.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in panel building, mechanical assembly, machine building, or electro-mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic electrical wiring experience with industrial components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred:
- Experience building electrical control panels from scratch.
- Experience wiring PLCs, VFDs, relays, and industrial control systems.
- Hydraulic assembly experience.
- Experience building custom machinery or engineered-to-order equipment.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience.
Why Join?
- Work on custom-built industrial equipment—no repetitive assembly line work.
- Stable, growing manufacturer with a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
- Learn from experienced professionals with long tenure.
- Opportunities to expand both your electrical and mechanical skills.
- Overtime available.
- Excellent benefits upon hire, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
