Description
CLX Engineering builds and integrates industrial automation systems used in major airport environments across the country. Behind every baggage system, conveyor line, and automated operation is a control panel that keeps everything running — and that’s where this role comes in.
We are hiring Control Panel Builders across multiple experience levels (Level I – Level III). Your level will be determined during the interview process based on your experience with electrical panel assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting.
Whether you’re an experienced panel builder or someone with strong electrical assembly skills looking to grow, we’re looking for individuals who take pride in clean wiring, organized builds, and quality craftsmanship.
This role primarily works out of our Sanford, FL manufacturing facility, assembling electrical control panels that support automation systems installed in airports and other industrial environments.
If you enjoy hands-on electrical work, reading schematics, and building systems that power real-world automation — you’ll fit right in here.
Level I – Entry / Developing Panel Builder
- Strong electrical assembly foundation
- Learning to read and interpret schematics
- Works under guidance while building panel wiring and components
Level II – Experienced Panel Builder
- Confident reading electrical prints and wiring panels independently
- Troubleshoots wiring issues and assists with testing
- Helps maintain build quality and workflow in the panel shop
Level III – Senior Panel Builder
- Expert-level understanding of electrical schematics and panel construction
- Identifies design improvements and supports engineering teams
- Leads complex panel builds and mentors junior builders
Final level placement and compensation will be determined based on experience, technical knowledge, and interview evaluation.
