About the Role:

The Pallet Repair Table Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that pallets are repaired and maintained to meet quality standards. This position involves assessing damaged pallets, executing repairs, and preparing them for reuse in the supply chain. The operator will work closely with the production team to ensure that repaired pallets are delivered on time and meet safety regulations. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential, as the integrity of the pallets directly impacts the efficiency of the manufacturing process. Ultimately, the operator contributes to reducing waste and promoting sustainability within the manufacturing industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
  • Experience with woodworking or carpentry.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect damaged pallets for structural integrity and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Perform repairs on pallets using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Document repairs and maintain records of pallet conditions and repairs performed.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include proficiency in using hand and power tools, which are essential for effectively repairing pallets. Attention to detail is critical, as operators must accurately assess damage and execute repairs to ensure safety and quality. Physical stamina and strength are necessary for lifting and maneuvering heavy pallets throughout the workday. Preferred skills, such as forklift operation, enhance the operator's ability to efficiently move materials within the facility. Overall, a combination of technical skills and a strong work ethic will enable the Pallet Repair Table Operator to contribute positively to the manufacturing process.

Monday Through Friday. Saturdays as needed for overtime.

1st Shift: 6AM to 2:30PM

2nd Shift: 3PM to 11:30PM

3rd Shift: 11:30PM to 6AM
8 hour Shift

(Includes overtime as needed)
