Description: The Painter at Brooks Brothers Trailers are the finishing component for all Brooks Brothers Trailers. This role is relied on solely for all sand blasting, bed liner application and finish painting needs in an industrial paint booth setting.

Qualifications

Skills: Painters at Brooks Brothers Trailers need to have the ability to measure paint to specifications. This role is also responsible for accurate mixing and reading of paint codes to accurately identify and apply material. A good record of safety in material and tool handling is a must. Experience with electrostatic paint systems, sand blasting and forklift operation is a plus.

Duties: The following duties are required but not limited to:

• Determine paint needs for trailers
• Read work orders and mix, apply and inspect paint finishes for quality outcomes
• Apply primer, paint and bed liners using best practices
• Prepare all trailer chassis for finish through sand blasting
• Have a working knowledge of preparation and application procedures
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Forklift operation and annual safety training is required.
• This role will spend long hours in a hot environment.
