Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Painter to join our team in Fargo, ND, 58102. As a Painter, you will play a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various custom metal projects while ensuring high-quality finishes.

Train on 1st

for 2 weeks, then move to 2nd

shift.

2nd

shift is 4:30pm – 3am Mon – Thurs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure surface preparation specifications on trailers is met prior to paint process.

• Follows supervisor/assistant supervisor’s instructions.

• Applies primer and topcoat to trailers within quality standards.• Use of Mil Guage to verify proper paint thickness.• Properly repair paint defects on trailers• Maintains Paint vault• Inspects own work and trainee’s work• Operate overhead crane when needed.• Is familiar with all equipment used and is responsible for routine maintenance and upkeep.• Monitor supplies needed in area and updates supervisor as necessary.• Handle, store and properly dispose of all hazardous materials. Successfully complete all annual training requirements.• Follow standard work and procedures.• Must adhere to all safety standards set by the company.• Must help identify waste in process or procedure to increase efficiency.• Assume additional responsibilities as needed when not painting.Candidate Requirements1-2 years’ experience in applying paint by use of electrostatic paint equipment preferred. Must possess good verbal communication skills and ability to work with others. Must display a positive attitude and work ethic.
