**Position Summary
**
Our client is seeking a Paint Line Supervisor to lead second-shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, driving production performance, and ensuring high-quality results. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe workplace, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping the operation meet customer expectations.
As the Paint Line Supervisor, you will oversee daily paint line operations, lead production team members, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved. You will work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to maximize efficiency while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.
**Key Responsibilities
**
Promote a culture where safety is the top priority and every team member returns home safely.
Lead and support paint line team members to achieve daily production schedules and customer shipment requirements.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Monitor and support E-Coat paint system operations, including dip tanks, paint bag filters, and related processes.
Oversee paint system chemistry and process controls to maintain product quality.
Coordinate staffing, break relief coverage, and labor utilization to optimize productivity.
Partner with Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and support repair activities.
Implement and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and PPE requirements.
Manage shift staffing levels and overtime requirements to support production demands.
Communicate production updates, shift changes, and operational priorities with supervisors and managers.
Monitor production performance and quality metrics and communicate results to Quality and Operations teams.
Build positive working relationships with employees while adhering to the collective bargaining agreement.
Address employee concerns, coach team members, and partner with Human Resources when needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that drive safety, quality, and efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications
**
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills.
Results-driven with the ability to prioritize and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a hands-on leadership style.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
