Job Overview:

Paint & Blast Supervisor

Pay: $25–$30 per hour

Schedule: Weekdays, Able to work overtime and weekends as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Paint & Blast Supervisor to lead and oversee daily industrial painting and blasting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial coatings, surface preparation, and blasting techniques, along with the ability to lead a crew of 8–12 employees. This individual must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily painting and blasting operations.
  • Lead, direct, and support a crew of 8–12 employees to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
  • Oversee the application of industrial coatings, including zinc, bedliner, and epoxy.
  • Ensure proper surface preparation and identify required blast profiles and appropriate blast media.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial coating equipment, including paint mixers and applicators.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed to support production activities.
  • Maintain an organized work area and ensure materials, equipment, and workflow are properly managed.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure coating and blasting specifications are met.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure employees follow established procedures.
  • Support production demands by working overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience in industrial painting, blasting, or industrial coatings.
  • Knowledge of industrial coatings, including zinc, bedliner, and epoxy.
  • Experience with industrial coating application methods and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of abrasive blast media and the ability to identify blast profiles.
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a crew, preferably 8–12 employees.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach to work.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
