Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Packing Supervisor to lead daily packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees production output, employee performance, product quality, and food safety while managing a team of 15–40+ employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise packaging operations, including weighing, bagging, labeling, sealing, and preparing products for shipment.

• Lead, train, and hold employees accountable for productivity, quality, attendance, and safety.

• Monitor production goals, staffing, and workflow to meet deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.

• Maintain accurate production reports and product traceability records.

• Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement improvements to efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or production.

• Experience leading teams of 15 or more employees.

• Fluent in English and Spanish required.

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or SQF standards.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

• SQF certification, ERP experience, or Lean/5S knowledge preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.

• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods as needed.
