**Packer/Harvester

Location: Medina
Pay: $16-$18/hour, depending on experience
**Hours: **7a-4:30p M-F or 6a-3:30p M-F
Position Summary
Farm Harvesters and Packagers are responsible for harvesting and packaging products efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and cleanliness. This role plays a critical part in meeting daily production goals and ensuring product integrity from harvest to packaging.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Package finished products with accurate weights, proper quality, and correctly aligned labels
- Follow proper harvesting techniques to ensure product quality and optimal yield
- Adhere to all SOPs and food safety policies
- Meet daily production and output standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with transplanting, system cleaning, and general farm sanitation
- Use cleaning equipment such as motorized floor scrubbers, brooms, and mops
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous harvesting or packaging experience preferred but not needed
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout the production area
- Regularly lift and move 25 lbs
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform cleaning tasks using standard cleaning supplies
Work Environment
- Exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, and cleaning chemicals
- Moderate to loud noise levels
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Warm working conditions during peak seasons
