PURPOSE:
Under close supervision, the employee performs a full range of packing assignments using supervisor or other higher level Management guidance to assure that all products leave the plant in compliance with consumer expectations. The employee will provide support to the Packing team on pulling, staging, organizing and casing the final product. This position will support the packing team on reducing downtime on line change over’s and assure peak packing line efficiency.

Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.1.Follow all safety procedures 2.Being able to perform all activities relating to product management. (Counting, Packing, Sealing, and putting product into boxes or trays)3.Always work with good manufacture practices.4.Preferably,be knowledgeable in mathematics 5.Insure that all procedures and work instructions are followed, to maintain product safety for all customers.6.Check date codes stamped, and weight information against the daily schedule.7.Check the appearance of product and assure that it meets the established parameters and customer expectations.8.Must reassure that pouches are properly sealed.9.Must have a positive attitude when helping peers, leaders, or supervisors.10.Assist packing team in the completion of their orders: assistance will be given to this accomplishment by all supervisors and leads.11.Clean and maintain assigned area in safe sanitary condition, insuring product safety12.Maintain hygiene, follow GMP’S follow SQF and USDA guidelines13.Verify that equipment is in good working condition.14.Effectively operate plant equipment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1.High School (able to read write)2.Minimum 1-2years’experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus).
