Job Description

Our client is looking for a Packaging Operator at San Diego, CA for a contract role.

Pay rate at $25/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday schedule (5am–1:30pm)

Responsibilities

- Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished products to meet customer and internal requirements

- Ensure all packaging processes comply with company procedures and quality specifications

- Identify and remove defective products or packaging materials during in-process checks

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or GED

- At least 6 months of industry experience in packaging or a related field

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Proficient in completing documentation accurately

- Familiarity with computer systems and business software

Preferred Skills

- 5+ years of industry experience

- Experience handling hazardous waste

- Previous work in a GMP-regulated environment
