Key Responsibilities

• Operational Performance Analysis
• Trend operational data and losses across multiple IT systems to identify areas of inefficiency and develop problem statements.
• Analyze packaging line performance and support root cause identification for operational losses.
• Monitor key manufacturing metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.

Continuous Improvement & Project Support

• Develop and execute improvement plans focused on increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs during the co-op term.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of near-term and long-term improvement plans for packaging lines.

Capital Planning & Business Analysis

• Build business cases for future small-purchase capital projects.
• Evaluate potential projects by analyzing operational impact, costs, and expected savings.
• Assist with project documentation, presentations, and implementation planning.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Must continue to be enrolled in classes upon the completion of the co-op.  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Interest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior mechanical, industrial, or hands-on technical experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
