Job Title: Finishing Grinder- Second Shift

Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $16+/Hour DOE (+$1.50/Hr. Nightshift Differential)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 PM–5:00 AM

Position Summary:

A well-established manufacturer in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Finishing Grinder to join their product finishing department. This role is responsible for grinding and finishing metal products to meet quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate pneumatic and electric handheld surface grinders.

• Smooth and finish surfaces of metal products according to specifications.

• Ensure proper marking of pipes per company procedures.

• Follow quality, safety, and presentation requirements for all products.

• Coordinate tooling changes with team members as needed.

• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.

• Follow all written and verbal instructions from supervisors.

• Report any unsafe conditions immediately.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior experience with surface grinders preferred.

• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable working in hot and dusty conditions with required PPE.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
