Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to join our team in Sewickley, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move materials and equipment throughout our facility. Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment as needed.

• This is an on the groud position, operating a crane from the ground with a pendant.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate lifts and movements.

• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and any maintenance performed.

• Assist in training new operators and provide guidance on safe operating practices.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on crane equipment as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Proven experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices related to crane operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and safety manuals.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Certification as an overhead crane operator is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
