Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on crane equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure proper load handling.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and inspections.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid overhead crane operator certification.
• Proven experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor as needed.
