Join our dynamic team in Shelby Township, MI, as an Outsources/Processor-Aerospace! We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual who is passionate about the aerospace industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our outsourcing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities

• Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
• Update customer information in a database.
• Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
• Sends request for quotes out to third party vendors for services.
• Issues the purchase orders for services and tracks progress of outsourced materials.
• Verifies material sizes and parts quantity is correct vs. the print and what is required to be build the job.
• Creates master order sheet
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in outsourcing or procurement, preferably in the aerospace sector.
• Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Schedule and location

• Full-time, hourly position based on-site in Shelby Township, Michigan.
• Typical start time is 6:00 a.m. Hours may vary based on project requirements.
• No regular travel required.
• Occasional work on the manufacturing floor around machinery and production noise may be required.
