Position Summary

As an Independent Contractor, you'll meet with homeowners, inspect roofing systems, educate customers on roofing solutions, assist with insurance claims when applicable, and guide customers from the initial consultation through signed contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through a combination of company-provided leads, referrals, networking, canvassing, and self-generated prospecting.
• Perform residential roof inspections.
• Educate homeowners on roofing products and replacement options.
• Assist customers with understanding the insurance claims process.
• Prepare and present roofing estimates and proposals.
• Build trust through exceptional customer service.
• Follow up on leads and maintain accurate information in the company CRM.
• Represent Roof Life professionally within the community.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals.

Compensation

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• 100% Commission
• Average commission: $1,000–$3,500 per sale

Roofing experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates from construction, home improvement, insurance, restoration, real estate, HVAC, solar, automotive sales, retail leadership, and other outside sales backgrounds.

• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Ability to inspect residential roofing systems (training provided)

• Ability to work independently

You should be proficient in:
