Ops Support Center – Job Description


Duties & Responsibilities

- Willing and able to manage call volumes during shift and respond, or direct for resolution

- Efficient in SCADA system operation to monitor compressors, pipelines and wells

- Monitor and manage all production within the oil and gas field to maximize production

- Monitor and operate all equipment, including SCADA system, compression, wells, and pipeline

- Willing and able to enter compression, well, and pipeline data into multiple databases

- Willing and able to communicate equipment issues with compression and field operations

- Works effectively with others to minimize downtime

- Maintain all company provided tools and equipment

- Basic knowledge of compressor stations, pipelines and wells operations

- Basic knowledge of routine maintenance for compressors, wells, and pipelines

- Prepare log sheets for every shift; prepare daily report; maintain all employee related paperwork, time sheets, logs, etc. as needed in a timely manner

- Perform other various tasks as assigned by the Foreman


Skills & Specifications

- Ability to work with a diverse team

- Possess a working knowledge of process equipment, separation, flow, etc.

- Has basic computer skills; data entry into various electronic databases

- Ability to work safely and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures

- Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude

- Maintains good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility

- Willing to work rotating shifts


Education & Qualifications

- 0-2 years’ experience in oil and gas operations

- Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus (and may be required in some locations)

- Legally authorized to work in the United States

- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check

- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program

- Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred

- Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on-call rotation

- Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities preferred

- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs
