Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator/Integrator who will support customers and agents, airport authorities and government agency personnel to facilitate the entry and departure into the United States for individuals of various social levels. Candidate must be able to travel on short notice to airports in WMA or CONUS on an infrequent basis. He/she will provide scheduling support for events, prepare and deliver after action reports, and have the ability to interact professionally with myriad types of individuals. The successful candidate must also be willing to forge and maintain liaison relationships with various airport elements and contacts at other transportation venues (i.e., train and/or bus terminals).

The successful candidate will conduct meet & assist events at domestic “Ports of Entry” independently and as part of a team on a 24x7 basis, as needed, to facilitate and expedite the processing of individuals or groups into the United States through CBP and TSA security checkpoints; and facilitate and expedite the processing of individuals for international and domestic arrivals/departures.

This position requires support to foreign visitors and a desire to become very familiar with WMA airports, different airline representatives, security requirements, and security personnel. The role requires the candidate  to be able to obtain appropriate airport badges and attend to other airport/airline administrative requirements, perform database entry and management, and prepare reports summarizing the upcoming schedule of activities and statistics on past performance and resource usage.


Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree OR four years' experience working at airports
  • Five years' experience working in the Intelligence Community
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with a proficiency for researching, analyzing, and prioritizing tasks
  • Strong problem-solving, analytic, and written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage, and plan a medium to large, semi-complex workload
  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and ability to discreetly handle sensitive travel information
  • Ability to work shift work/extended hours
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Demonstrated knowledge of intelligence analysis and experience with synthesizing large amounts of data
  • Experience expediting international and domestic arrival/departures
  • Familiarity with CONUS-based airport operations and authorities
