The Opportunity Enablement/ Design Program Manager is responsible for providing management and guidance to multi-functional project teams. Manages medium to high-complexity projects and opportunities and drives activities that support business growth through effective execution.
This role ensures program activities align with the organization's strategic goals and contribute towards business growth. The Program Manager also leads early qualification of opportunities and RFx response activity, consolidating business proposals, project schedules/financials, and technical feasibility.
The Program Manager manages multiple global projects or is dedicated to a single customer or product domain, and may lead other Project Managers, providing mentorship and direction. Promotes engagement and communication, collaborating with stakeholders and reporting progress among the team, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
What will you do? –
Drive activities related to medium to high-complexity projects and opportunities to support business growth through effective execution.
Ensure project requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and properly translated for execution.
Ensure effective communication, engagement, and progress reporting.
Regularly update key stakeholders on project status, variances, and corrective actions.
Implement best practices to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure program activities align with organizational strategic goals for business growth.
Deliver weekly project status updates, and resolve issues, problems, and changes.
Align with customer needs by establishing milestones, goals, and objectives based on input from functional areas and stakeholders within the project.
Coordinate activities of project teams and keep them focused in times of crises.
Develop and manage customer relationships globally in conjunction with the Business Unit (BU).
Support new customer relationships both internally and externally.
Drive the Request for Quotation (RFQ) business creation process and engineering services for quote completion.
How will you get here? -
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Experience:
Minimum seven (7) years work-related experience required in program or project management in an engineering environment.
Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Adept at navigating the diversified landscape and operating in a global cross-functional team.
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with sales, marketing, business, engineering, and supply chain.
Strong and convincing communication skills, creating clear and consistent messages for diverse audiences, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
Demonstrated high performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge, and sound judgment.
Demonstrated ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
A background in consulting is a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
