Key Objective

As a Lithographic Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sheet-fed offset presses to produce high-quality print materials. You will ensure color accuracy, registration, and consistency while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet-fed litho presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, or similar)

• Load paper, mount printing plates, and adjust ink fountains and press settings

• Monitor press runs to ensure quality standards are met

• Conduct color checks and registration throughout print runs

• Perform press maintenance, including cleaning and minor repairs

• Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues as they arise

• Communicate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow

• Maintain detailed production logs and follow job ticket specifications

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Requirements

• Some experience operating a Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or other servo-driven narrow web press.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to efficiency and quality.
• Ability to lift, stand, and work physically as required for press operation.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
