What is an Operator (C)?
The Operator (C) is responsible for performing entry-level production activities, supporting manufacturing processes, and learning to operate equipment safely and effectively. This role focuses on assisting with basic tasks, following instructions, and developing foundational skills within a manufacturing environment. The position plays a key role in supporting production operations while building the knowledge and experience needed to advance to higher-level operator roles.
What You Can Expect to Do as an Operator (C):
- Assist with production activities and support operators in daily tasks
- Learn to operate basic equipment under supervision
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Perform basic quality checks and report any issues
- Support material handling, loading, and unloading tasks
- Maintain accurate production records as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks within the work area
- Communicate issues or concerns to leads and supervisors
- Participate in training and development to build production skills
What We Are Looking For in an Operator (C):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0–1 year of experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a plant environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing setting
