What is an Operator (C)?

The Operator (C) is responsible for performing entry-level production activities, supporting manufacturing processes, and learning to operate equipment safely and effectively. This role focuses on assisting with basic tasks, following instructions, and developing foundational skills within a manufacturing environment. The position plays a key role in supporting production operations while building the knowledge and experience needed to advance to higher-level operator roles.

What You Can Expect to Do as an Operator (C):

  • Assist with production activities and support operators in daily tasks
  • Learn to operate basic equipment under supervision
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Perform basic quality checks and report any issues
  • Support material handling, loading, and unloading tasks
  • Maintain accurate production records as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks within the work area
  • Communicate issues or concerns to leads and supervisors
  • Participate in training and development to build production skills

What We Are Looking For in an Operator (C):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–1 year of experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a plant environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing setting
