What is an Operator (B)?

The Operator (B) is responsible for performing intermediate-level production activities, operating equipment, and supporting manufacturing processes with increasing independence and skill. This role handles routine production tasks, follows established procedures, and supports overall production flow while developing technical expertise. The position plays a key role in maintaining consistent operations and progressing toward advanced operator responsibilities.


What You Can Expect to Do as an Operator (B):

  • Operate production equipment and follow standard operating procedures
  • Perform batching, mixing, or processing tasks as assigned
  • Monitor equipment and processes to ensure proper operation
  • Perform quality checks and report any deviations
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Assist in troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues
  • Support material handling and workflow within the production area


What We Are Looking For in an Operator (B):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
  • Basic understanding of production processes and equipment
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
