Are you an experienced Operations Supervisor looking to lead production within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy developing high performing teams while driving safety, quality and delivery? Are you looking for a long term contract with a global aerospace manufacturer offering genuine responsibility and autonomy? If so, this opportunity may be the right next step for you.

RPS Recruitment is recruiting exclusively on behalf of a global aerospace manufacturer for an Operations Supervisor to join its Santa Clarita facility on a contract running until December 2027.

Our client is a global aerospace manufacturer with a long history of engineering innovation, supplying highly engineered products for critical aerospace applications. The business is recognised for its commitment to operational excellence, advanced manufacturing and continuous improvement.

As the Operations Supervisor, you will lead an off shift production team, ensuring safety, quality and delivery targets are achieved while coaching Team Leads and making operational decisions with minimal support.

This is an opportunity to join a well established aerospace manufacturer where you will have real ownership of your shift, lead experienced production teams and contribute to the manufacture of complex aerospace products on a long term contract through to December 2027.

As the Operations Supervisor your responsibilities will include

  • Leading daily shift meetings and communicating production priorities
  • Managing labour allocation, production performance and operational challenges throughout the shift
  • Coaching Team Leads through regular mentoring and one to one meetings
  • Monitoring safety, quality and manufacturing performance while removing production barriers
  • Delivering effective shift handovers to ensure production continuity

As the Operations Supervisor you will bring

  • Three to five years or more supervisory experience within aerospace or defence manufacturing
  • Experience leading production teams independently within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and process improvement
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system
  • Background within mechanical assembly, hydraulics, actuators, valves or precision manufacturing

All successful applicants will be contacted within two working days.
