This 2nd shift Onsite position supports the High Volume Sensors value streams of Circuit Card manufacturing (CCM) in Andover, MA. Here at Raytheon, our Operations Quality Team assures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.

What You Will Do
- Lead continuous improvement projects with an emphasis on reducing cost of poor quality (CoPQ) and increasing factory first pass yield (FPY).
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure and leading Corrective Action Boards (CAB)
- Analyze factory data and regularly generate, publish, and present Quality metrics
- Participate in Defect Prevention Team (DPT) meetings with the cross functional teams to trend data, prioritize investigations, and status actions to improve production quality
- Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections
- Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary
- Support work instruction development and maintenance activities by reviewing work instructions, test instructions, auditing processes, and assuring configuration management
- Daily status meetings with the factory support, factory management, hourly employees, and internal stakeholders to manage production quality
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Previous experience interpreting and understand technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Controls and Capability analysis
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System
- Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirements
- Six Sigma, CORE, Shainin RedX Problem Solving, or ASQ Certification
- Data analysis; development and usage of actionable metrics
- Prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in STEM.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Circuit Card Assembly and Component Soldering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
- Ability to learn quickly and make decisions independently
Location Information:
- Andover, MA
- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information:
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
