Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Transportation Management Center (TMC) Operations Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead a team of Shift Supervisors, Training Supervisors and Operators.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Be a permanent staff employee and shall serve as the primary point of contact for client and internal management
  • Serve as a Shift Supervisor when needed.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate and are provided when requested.
  • Manage and evaluate shift supervisors.
  • Team scheduling.
  • Compile weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports
  • Develop and foster long-term relationships with TIM partner agencies.
  • Audit and evaluate shift supervisors and TMC operators as required.
  • Make enhancement recommendations to meet goals

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Associate's Degree or other related certification in a technical field (or equivalent) and 10+ years of related experience
  • At least 3+ years of recent experience in Operations Management or similar services
  • TxDOT TMC Supervisor or Operations Manager experience
  • Experience making SLA,s, KPIs, and other metrics in a TMC or similar environment
  • The ability to address conduct and performance issues
  • Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating operations and personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience in Traffic Incident Management
  • College degree in criminal justice, business administration, or related field
