**Operations Manager — Plastic Injection Molding

Kansas City, MO (Northland) · Onsite · $130,000–$145,000

A 40-year plastics manufacturer is hiring an Operations Manager to run its high-volume injection molding plant in the Kansas City Northland.

This is the job that runs the floor. Production, maintenance, quality and materials all come through you, and you are accountable for safety, quality, delivery and cost across every shift.

They want a leader who can set the strategy and still walk the floor — someone who knows presses, tooling and resins as well as they know a budget.

**What you would do

**

• Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations at a high-volume plastic injection molding facility

• Own the plant's safety, quality, delivery and cost results

• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across production, maintenance, quality and materials

• Lead a multi-shift operation through your supervisors and managers

• Meet customer requirements and keep the plant in compliance with customer quality standards

• Drive continuous improvement across the operation

**What you need

**

• 7+ years of progressive leadership in a plastic injection molding environment

• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, materials (resins) and automation

• Proven leadership of high-volume, multi-shift operations

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management or a related field — or equivalent experience

• Experience in a certified quality system (IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or similar) is a plus
