QC Conveyors is searching for a seasoned Operations Manager responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, 5S, and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties as assigned.
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
- Analyze, improve, and implement organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environments by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with Duravant and legal regulations.
- Own the inventory control process and work to ensure alignment and accuracy between physical inventory and ERP system. Collaborate with the Purchasing manager on materials planning to meet company objectives.
- Identify and monitor production KPIs.
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
- Daily visual management: Oversee production metrics, reporting, quality, and inventory management for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with VP/GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
- Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies.
- Develop, lead, and oversee production, shipping/receiving, and quality.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8-10 years working in manufacturing and supporting project execution.
- Experience with leading improvement efforts in production, quality, 5S, planning, safety, and profitability
- Experience with ERP systems

The incumbent must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position requires frequent visits to the manufacturing and office areas.
