Location: Mayfield, KY

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexibility required, including two weekends per month)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Onsite Staffing Operations Manager to oversee workforce operations at a manufacturing facility in Mayfield, KY. This position serves as the primary point of contact between the client, employees, and internal recruiting team to ensure staffing goals, employee engagement, and operational objectives are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in staffing, manufacturing, logistics, or workforce operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships while driving results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage open staffing requisitions and support recruiting efforts for hourly positions.
  • Screen, qualify, and coordinate candidate placements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Oversee active workforce headcount and staffing levels.
  • Process background checks, drug screenings, and new hire documentation.
  • Support payroll timekeeping and ensure accurate submission of employee hours.
  • Assist with employee coaching, corrective actions, and terminations as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, hiring managers, and onsite employees.
  • Partner with client management to address staffing, retention, attendance, and workforce challenges.
  • Track attendance, turnover, and workforce metrics to support operational goals.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Participate in performance management, coaching, counseling, and employee development.
  • Evaluate staffing strategies and recommend improvements to increase recruiting and retention success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, staffing, or workforce operations.
  • Recruiting or staffing industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting high-volume hourly workforces is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working early morning schedules with occasional weekend coverage.
