Custodian General Summary

This Office Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining work areas, offices, and buildings clean and orderly by using janitorial supplies, removing waste, and performing special cleaning projects as assigned. 

Custodian Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
• Buffing, waxing, and stripping floors
• General cleaning and dusting in an office setting 
• Maintenance of janitor closets
• Emptying trash baskets
• Cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms 

Custodian Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Monthly order list for supplies needed 
• Routine maintenance duties as assigned
