Location:Midtown West, NY 10023
Schedule:Monday–Thursday | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation:Up to$84/hour(based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to K–8 students with a variety of therapeutic and developmental needs.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional classroom skills.
- Maintain accurate progress notes, treatment documentation, and measurable therapy goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, school leadership, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and interventions.
- Consult with instructional staff regarding strategies to support students throughout the school day.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience working with school-aged children required.
- Experience supporting students withLD, ADHD, ASD, executive functioning, and sensory processing needsstrongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- 3–5+ years of pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
