NX Tooling Designer job description:
The Designer does primarily material handling rack designs with other design types to be assigned as required. These designs consist of new design, revisions, reverse engineering, lay-outs, rework instructions, details design and others. The objective is to provide quality designs and build prints per the customers requirements to internal reviews.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.

- Review and interpret Job Line-up sheets
- Create 3D Models
- Create drawings for 3D models
- Revise provided drawings when necessary
- Design per Customer Standards and Specifications
- Ensure all Builds and Non-conformances are updated on drawings
- Create change information for estimating
- Fills out or reviews control line-up forms per designated project
- Ensures design are cost effective
- Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/environmental concerns
- Adhere to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree (A.A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five-years NX tooling design experience
