Main Responsibilities:

The North American Regional Medical Value and Impact Lead will design and communicate the impact story for NA Medical. This role will design Key Impact Indicators (KIIs) that measure the effectiveness of Medical plans in coordination with NA Medical Leads, oversee the development and socialization of the value provided by Medical within and outside the organization, and enhance the use of data in decision-making across the organization.

Internal Collaboration/Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure metrics are aligned with business priorities.

  • Proactively seek input from stakeholders on an ongoing basis to understand their evolving objectives, needs, and strategic decisions, incorporating feedback into both KII (Key Impact Indicators) and PTI (Progress to Impact) design.

  • Support senior leadership on impact related needs, questions and or presentations (i.e., value story, KII analysis, etc.)

  • Develop comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and user guides to facilitate adoption and utilization of analytical tools and models across the organization.

  • Guide teams on how impact metrics can drive continuous improvement and achieve strategic priorities.

  • Establish NA Medical quarterly updates for key internal stakeholders to showcase progress/outcomes against strategic imperatives.

Strategy

  • Work with leads to develop key metrics to assess the impact of each area as well as total NA Medical Affairs function, ensuring that these metrics are aligned to Medical strategic objectives.

  • Design consistent frameworks to measure impact across teams, connecting team performance to strategic objectives.

  • Develop an end-to-end communication plan for communicating the Medical Impact and Value story, including stakeholder identification, message development, channel selection, etc.

  • Construct narratives and visualizations to deliver impact story messaging, tailoring for specific groups on an as needed basis.

  • Analyze KIIs and data points to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making (e.g., resource allocation) and asset and region-specific Medical plans.

  • Function as connector to GTMC Analytics team to ensure coordination of all development, measurement, tracking, and communication of metrics.

  • Leverage impact measurements to create a value story for NA Medical Affairs

  • Participate in development of Country Medical Plans with Medical Lead, Medical Advisor, or US FBM Regional Heads, aligning Medical initiatives and resources to Medical strategic priorities.

Medical Operations

  • Support the development and implementation of systems for capturing and sharing success stories, testimonials, and case studies that highlight the transformative impact of Medical Affairs initiatives.

  • Drive the processing of relevant data to support visualizations and analysis of the impact of Medical Affairs initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for development, enhancement, and interoperability of tools to support evolving business needs and new KII and PTI requests.

  • Lead the shaping of and adoption/implementation of new systems, methods, and models to drive Simplification, One Sanofi, One Medical

  • Source and pull data from various systems and databases to populate dashboards with accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in data management, analytics, and tool development.

About You

Requirements

Education/experience/Certification

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

  • 5+ years of consulting experience and/or industry experience

  • Proven track record of translating data insights into actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making and business outcomes.

  • Expertise in analytics and business communications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including the role of Medical Affairs within drug development, regulatory affairs, and healthcare provider engagement

Competencies the successful candidate should possess:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.

  • Strategic and effective stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills

  • Experience crafting impactful presentations, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate the impact of data.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and advanced analytics techniques
