A growing plastics manufacturer in Fletcher, Ohio is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor with experience as a Plastics Process Technician to help lead production in a rapidly expanding injection molding operation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a startup manufacturing environment that is already experiencing strong growth and investing in brand-new robotic injection molding equipment.

This role combines hands-on process work, leadership, and machine oversight, supervising a small team while supporting production, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

This manufacturer produces heavy-duty plastic storage products distributed to major retailers across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support 2–3 production employees on night shift

• Oversee operation of plastic injection molding machines and robotics

• Set molds and perform process setup and cycle development

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot process issues

• Train operators on robotics and injection molding processes

• Perform basic machine maintenance (lubrication, oil checks, adjustments)

• Handle raw materials and assist with moving finished goods to shipping

• Analyze and optimize processing methods for quality and efficiency

• Maintain a safe, organized production floor

• Take ownership of production processes in a startup manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2+ years of experience in plastics or injection molding manufacturing preferred

• Leadership experience

• Familiarity with process setup, mold settings, or robotics in manufacturing

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Comfortable working in a hands-on startup environment

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Rotating 12-hour schedule

• $30–$35/hr based on experience
