Provide leadership to ensure all company safety rules and regulations in accordance with regulatory agencies are observed by employees, site safety goals, and administer safety initiatives
Interface with regulatory agencies as required
Ensure quality of product during process
Provide technical and tactical support to the hourly employees
Ensure the execution of the daily production plan
Uses the production modules under the SAP system
Ensure operations personnel perform quality work
Participate in a daily meeting with production team
Oversee necessary arrangements to keep plant running during breakdowns

The Production Supervisor will supervise hourly personnel. The Production Manager has responsibility for overall operations management to achieve goals.
Basic requirements (Education, Level of Experience, Language)
2+ years supervisor experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment; previous experience as department supervisor for larger facilities would also be a fit; industry background in manufacturing related to mining, paper mills, steel plants, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, stone processing, cement plants, etc. preferred
Positive & proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions
Demonstrable success in cultural 'turn around' a plus
Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills
Demonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic
