Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture gear components according to specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a manual machinist, preferably in gear manufacturing.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work night shifts and flexible hours as needed.
