The Network Operations SME manages end-user support, network operations infrastructure, web applications and cloud support, customer relationship management, and security support. Provide ongoing Operations and Maintenance support on the Application Hosting Environment (AHE), ensuring 99.9% application and system availability. Provide real-time 24/7 monitoring of all IT infrastructure hardware and software components.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education / experience.

• Five (5) Years of general experience

• Preferred Certifications: Apple Certified Support Professional, Apple Certified Specialist, Certified Casper Administrator, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundations, Microsoft Certified IT Enterprise Administrator (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Implement resolution of the most difficult issues and escalations.

Cross functional capability to support Windows, Mac OS, NetApp Storage, VMware, Cisco UCS and ACI, HP blade server hardware/software and Veeam backup.

Support the IT security mission by providing operational support for remediation of hardware and software vulnerabilities under the direction of the OD ISSO. Respond to alerts and incidents provided by internal and external information security support as directed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education / experience.

• Five (5) Years of general experience

• Preferred Certifications: Apple Certified Support Professional, Apple Certified Specialist, Certified Casper Administrator, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundations, Microsoft Certified IT Enterprise Administrator (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $70K – 140K with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience. Contigent upon award subject to change.
