Express Employment Professionals of Anderson is seeking dependable and motivated Welders and Metal Fabricators for multiple opportunities with local manufacturing and fabrication companies.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding according to job requirements.

• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components and structures.

• Measure, mark, cut, grind, and prepare metal materials for fabrication.

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications when required.

• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment.

• Inspect finished welds and fabricated components for accuracy, quality, and proper specifications.

• Make adjustments to materials and components to ensure proper fit and alignment.

• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.

• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Previous welding, fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing experience is beneficial.

• Familiarity with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding is a plus.

• Ability to measure accurately and use basic hand and power tools.

• Blueprint reading and fabrication drawing experience is beneficial for applicable positions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the assigned position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
