Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform PT and MT inspections per NAS-410, AS9100, customer specs, and internal procedures

• Set up, calibrate, and verify NDT equipment

• Interpret inspection results and determine accept/reject criteria

• Identify and document defects and discontinuities

• Maintain accurate inspection and traceability records

• Support NADCAP and customer audit requirements

• Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams

• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Current or previous Level II certification in:

  • Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

• Knowledge of NAS-410 and AS9100 standards

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace, defense, or investment casting experience

• Familiarity with NADCAP requirements

• Experience identifying casting defects such as porosity or inclusions

• Additional NDT methods (UT, RT, VT) are a plus

• Experience with digital inspection systems or ERP/MES software
