Job Overview:

We are looking for one (1) professional Lighting and Maintenance Sales Executive to join our team.  This position is listed in various cities as we are open to a remote candidate anywhere within the continental US.  

Position Summary: 

As a Lighting National Sales Executive, you will actively prospect new customers and manage the sales process through to the hand-off to a Project Manager. Our most successful Lighting Sales Executives are tenacious, with excellent relationship building skills, a strong drive for results, and advanced closing skills.  

Responsibilities: 

•    Acquire new customers through cold calling and face-to-face sales presentations, driving the sales process through to closing. 

  • Business Development with Lighting and Service customers such as retrofits and service and maintenance agreements
  • Possess the ability to travel (10-20%) to visit with customers or attend trade shows.

•    Accurately review contracts to ensure the scope of work is clearly defined. 

•    Smoothly transition the customer to the Project Management team.  

•    Provide sales forecasting reports to leadership, as well as insight on local market trends. 

 Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of lighting industry is preferred 
  • 2+ years sales experience, with a proven track record of aggressively growing sales
  • Technical proficiency in a variety of programs, to include Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc 
  • As this role requires regional travel, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
