Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Program Operations Manager in support of the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) portfolio with products including the Sentinel Radar, the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) Program and Homing All the Way Killer (HAWK) system. Your primary role will be to support the continued sustainment, maintenance, and execution of these programs to include proactive management of the overall cadence of the MRAD portfolio including cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth communication flow. You will report directly to the MRAD Senior Director and will support the program office, integrated product and cross product teams in flawless execution of its programs.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with the day-to-day program execution cadence (battle rhythm) of the program, i.e. risk review boards, program management reviews, failure review boards, configuration control boards, etc.
  • Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements, Corporate and Business policies and procedures, and the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
  • Execute and maintain Program Management Plans and Program Directives, consistent with program requirements and Raytheon policies
  • Identify and implement key program metrics. Work with the Program Management Office, Integrated Product Teams and Functional leads to implement and drive closure of corrective actions as warranted
  • Preparing and managing all required product lifecycle artifacts and reviews
  • The role must establish and maintain a positive and inclusive program culture to which top talent is attracted
  • Meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations
  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), and administrative functions
  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support contract proposal process to include bidding, gating, negotiation, contract definitization, and start-up efforts
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience is required
  • Experience with financial analysis tools and/or digital technology tools
  • Experience with root cause analysis, system problem solving, investigation, and/or solution implementation
  • Experience leading a team
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to obtain Program Management Certification within 12 months
  • 2 years of project management experience
  • Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and project management tools and/or systems
  • Working knowledge of EX/IM and Security requirements

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
