Job Summary:
The Finishing Supervisor will lead and oversee our anodizing, plating, industrial painting, and silk-screening operations while ensuring compliance with **NADCAP **and other industry standards. This role is integral to maintaining high-quality production, driving process improvements, and ensuring team and departmental success. The Finishing Supervisor will lead a team across multiple shifts, focusing on achieving operational efficiency and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
- Manage and oversee all aspects of anodizing, plating, industrial painting, and silk-screening operations.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finishing specialists, technicians, and operators.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Maintain rigorous quality control measures across all finishing operations ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality through process improvement initiatives.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of production metrics, compliance audits, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in anodizing, plating, industrial painting, and silk-screening processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of NADCAP standards and compliance requirements.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on employee development.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or finishing environment, with at least 2 year in supervisory role.
Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
Schedule- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday (Some flexibility may be required based on production needs).
Compensation
- Salary Range: $56k – 74K per year
- Benefits include shared-cost health care, paid holidays, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match after a waiting period.
