We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multitasking CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in Glenview, IL. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, load, and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multitasking CNC equipment)
- Monitor multiple machines during production cycles to ensure efficient operation
- Load and adjust programs as needed to maintain part quality and production flow
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors
- Maintain proper coolant levels, tooling condition, and machine cleanliness
- Manage material loading, unloading, and part handling between machines
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
- Document production activities, inspections, and any deviations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection techniques
- Basic understanding of G-code or CNC machine controls (preferred but not required depending on level)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required
