Job Description
The Multi Unit Manager will serve as the primary contact for assigned Multi Unit Account (MUA) customers and is responsible for the sales and profitability growth of specific accounts within an assigned remote geography. Oversees daily account maintenance, including order taking, order processing, order guide maintenance, pricing maintenance within established guidelines, and accounts receivable monitoring for assigned accounts. Conducts regular outside sales visits to customer locations to build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify business opportunities, address customer needs, and support long-term account growth and retention. Interfaces broadly with all company departments and distributor groups as necessary to ensure exceptional customer service and operational support. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.
The Multi-Unit Manager position will perform the following duties:
- Obtains and maintains key account business directly or assisting other salespeople in doing so.
- Regularly visits Multi-Unit account customers to build and maintain relationships.
- Manages coordination of new concept rollout.
- Coordinates all aspects necessary for meeting the needs of the key account (products, delivery schedules, reporting needs, communication needs, and new ideas).
- Handles Street Sales representative Vacation Route Coverage.
- Work with Multi-Unit accounts on Brand conversions
- Identifies opportunities for increased sales.
- Develops sales forecasts and set goals for key account activity.
- Conducts monthly business reviews
- Confers with customers to meet their needs which includes appraise, advise, inform, recommend, suggest, etc.
- Prepares detailed customer analysis.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 Years of Foodservice industry sales experience or related area.
Field sales or inside customer service experience.
Field sales or inside customer service experience within the foodservice industry preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, sales/marketing or related area.
2-4 Years of Foodservice industry sales experience.
