This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.

Job Requirements

  • Completed multi-spindle safety training.
  • Read, write and speak English.
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Math competency to include but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, trigonometry and algebra.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be adaptable to changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Understand Pindel's ISO Quality Management System.
  • Learn how to use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to micrometers, ID and OD micrometers, height stands, depth gages, thread gages.
  • Contribute to continual improvement.

Position Specification:

  • Learn to operate to workmanship standards, working from prints, process routings, and/or samples to achieve, or to exceed quality and productions standards. Seek assistance if standards cannot be met.
  • Learn to Inspect first pieces, using predetermined gaging instruments such as micrometers, depth micrometers, comparator, fixed gaging, and other job specific gaging instruments to maintain specified requirements.
  • Report work performed via Proshop and maintain proper documentation.
  • Follow the safe practices and housekeeping instructions for the CNC department.
  • Learn and understand the relevant sections of Pindel's ISO Quality Management System and how they apply to this job.
  • Learn to operate machines when needed.
  • Contribute to continual improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Visual accuracy with or without corrective lenses.
  • Stand and walk more than 2/3 of work day,
  • Sit; kneel; climb; squat; and bend and twist at waist less than 1/3 of the workday
  • Lift:

1-30 lbs floor to waist 1/3-2/3 of work day floor to waist

1-30lbs, waist level and above less than 1/3 of day

30lbs & over less than 1/3 of work day
