Role Overview
The Multi-Functional Supervisor leads daily operations on the manufacturing floor for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program in Huntsville, AL. This role ensures team performance aligns with key metrics for safety, quality, cost, and schedule while fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Facilitate a 6:00 AM morning stand-up meeting to align priorities and progress.
• Lead a team of technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, materials, facilities, program management, and safety teams to meet production objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee employee development, including training, performance assessment, and work assignments.
• Manage team performance, recognize achievements, and address performance concerns.
Work Environment
• Fast-paced manufacturing floor with a focus on precision and safety.
• Collaborative environment requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Daily interaction with team members, engineers, and program staff to meet production goals.
• Early-morning start for daily team stand-up meetings.

Basic Qualifications
Candidates must meet all requirements listed below:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and related systems.
• Experience managing cost, quality, and schedule metrics in a manufacturing production or operational environment.
Desired skills
These skills strengthen candidacy but are not required:
• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing or defense setting.
• Supervisory or leadership experience managing teams.
• Strong understanding of cost, quality, and schedule management.
• Ability to maintain positive employee relations.
• Excellent oral, written, and active listening communication skills.

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,900 - $147,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
