Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supporting equipment reliability, and providing technical leadership to a team of skilled maintenance professionals. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
Compensation
Pay: $44.00 - $48.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
First Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and prioritize daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and minimize production interruptions.
- Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts on a wide variety of industrial machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC-related issues using technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to assign work orders, document repairs, monitor equipment history, and support maintenance planning.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting using meters and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve equipment failures.
- Support the maintenance and repair of industrial assets including compressors, chillers, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, robotic equipment, conveyors, and related production machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and remains compliant with company safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to maintenance personnel while promoting best practices and continuous development.
- Partner with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability, eliminate recurring issues, and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment documentation, and reports in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an industrial manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Strong background in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience maintaining production equipment such as motors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, robotic systems, rollers, compressors, and industrial chillers.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance planning, documentation, and asset management.
- Familiarity with both low-voltage and high-voltage industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency using diagnostic equipment including multimeters, amp meters, ohm meters, and other precision testing tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and preventative maintenance best practices.
