The molding process technician is responsible to adjust and monitor injection molding equipment working night 12hr rotational 06:00 pm to 06:00 am
General Responsibilities
- Pull and set injection molds (aim for ready to start set-up)
- Completes color changes
- Ensure that press tonnage setting & mold damage protection is set
- Departmental cleaning
- Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal
- Prepping for upcoming set ups
- Actively participate in continuous improvement
- Ensure all quality and production documentation is prepared prior to releasing to production
- Responsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds and tooling
- Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company goals and objectives
Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge and use of tools
- Familiar with quality systems
- Familiar with measurements and quality tools
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated problem solving and root/cause analysis skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with mold tooling and components
- 0-3 Years
