Mold Set-Up / Process Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

Painesville, OH

Monday–Friday | Overtime Available

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $19.00/hour

• 2nd Shift: $21.00/hour (includes $2.00 shift differential)

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mold Set-Up / Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone experienced with mold changes, machine setup, process adjustments, and maintaining production quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down, and change injection molds and related equipment

• Start up production runs and adjust machine parameters as needed

• Perform first-piece inspections and monitor part quality throughout production

• Make process adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards

• Complete setup sheets, production logs, and related documentation accurately

• Inspect, clean, and report mold conditions after each production run

• Troubleshoot molding or process issues as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Injection molding setup, mold changing, or process technician experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read technical prints and follow written work instructions

• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Basic math and documentation skills

• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly

• Must be able to wear required PPE in production areas
